The Position: Senior Solutions Architect

Tenddo’s Solutions Architecture department is looking to complete its team, combining the forces of architecture design expertise to deliver creatively-driven digital transformations for clients across various industries. Their proficiency in technical software design will be integral in materializing the design of innovative user products and services. The candidate needs also to possess leadership qualities to guide junior designers and architects. They will be revered as the team’s thought leaders, working with Fortune 500 companies seeking innovative solutions.

The capability to collaborate and work with a cross-functional team is as the Senior Solutions Architect will work with Tenddo and client teams. Their charter also includes providing hands-on involvement in the ideation, project scoping, and estimation tasks for every client.

The Contribution:

As a part of Tenddo’s Solutions Architecture team, you will be required to:

  • Collaborate and find synergies for the project by working with both Tenddo’s design team and the client. This will be critical for checking technology feasibility of the experience required
  • Use your insights to perform a gap analysis that identifies both strengths, weaknesses, challenges, and opportunities in the client’s current architecture(s), facilitating the design process
  • Be involved in the project from its initiation, providing scope assessment and task estimations
  • Work closely with the internal creative and design teams to figure out effective ways of translating interaction designs into the client’s requirements while finding new architecture possibilities
  • Own the reference architecture definition for web applications
  • Remain in close collaboration with the client’s development team to ensure that both parties are on the same page and that the product vision is realized accurately
  • Use their technical architecture creation skills and advanced understanding and familiarity with the latest developments in the industry to build web application architecture for new client systems
  • Create technical architecture and detailed software design documents
  • Be involved and lead the development of intellectual assets for Tenddo
  • Provide support to the client both pre- and post- product/service launch
  • Conduct ongoing research or rapid POCs to develop new POVs (points of view) on new and emerging technologies, communicating them to the clients and the Tenddo team
  • Help our clients understand key technical considerations for their unique requirements and the solution you will provide
  • Mentor, coach, and lead junior solutions architects

Qualified candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a degree in Engineering in a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in web application development
  • Proven skills in executing the entire SDLC from ideation to production
  • Proficient in a wide range of technologies including software stacks and enterprise systems such as:
    • CRM
    • CMS
    • iPaaS
    • ESB
    • Data warehousing
    • And more
  • Conversant in other technical domains such as mobile, IoT, AI, data science, AR/VR, and/or graphics & animation
  • Impeccable communication skills in both verbal and written English (fluency in other languages alongside English will be appreciated)
  • Experience in providing technical sales support to clients
  • Advances skills in generating technical architecture design and related deliverables for both internal and external consumption
  • The ability to create accurate, high-level estimates based on limited requirements/hero flows
  • The ability to work with highly dynamic and collaborative teams across the full product lifecycle; beginning from experimentation until the software or solution is produced and launched
  • Proven track record of working in a consultancy environment
  • A penchant for pursuing continuous learning, discovering and developing new ideas, and working across disciplines to solve real-world problems with creative solutions
  • An eclectic mix of interests and hobbies in technology or other domains
